So many good things today. There are only 4 days left until Mommy returns.
And our 4-days-left presents were puzzles. Princesses for Stephie and Pooh for Haley.
Speaking of Haley, today was her evaluation at Avery Coonley for the Early Childhood program. She's got her game face on. "BRING IT!!!!"
First there was play time to get acclimated.
Then the evaluation consisted of breaking into groups of twos and threes doing puzzles with the teacher while the parents left the room. Haley got Mrs. Soldato the teacher the plays the piano.
Finally, the evaluation ended with everyone coming together for a story read by Mrs. Evans. It was about a Gorilla who was finally big enough to go to school. You know who else is big enough? HALEY!!! That's right, while the parents were waiting, Mrs. Crylen came and told us that this is something she's never done before, all of the kids did so well at the evaluation that all of them were accepted to the program!
Haley was so exhausted that she fell asleep on the way home.
Then while Daddy went to work, Gigi took the girls to Willowbrook Zoo.
"I'll protect you Haley!"

Good birdie.
Dinner at Weber Grill in Schaumburg to celebrate Gigi's birthday.
Finally, cake at home to mark 24 wonderf... wait, what? Yeah, those were the only candles we could find in the house.
